The jacket is made entirely of polyester pongee, which makes it light and easy to wear. The exterior has a matt look for a rugged look.
Under the outer fabric is the Poray 5.000 membrane. In a regular rainstorm, the water cannot possibly pass through this water and windproof layer. The higher the Poray number, the better the waterproofing.

The Section Raincoat Essential has a long zip. On top of this is a storm flap that you can fasten with press studs. All to protect against rain and wind.
The jacket has an inner pocket that can be closed with a zip.
The jacket lining is made of mesh. Taffeta has also been used on the inside of the sleeves. All this protects the breathable membrane. Moreover, the inside feels very pleasant. In the collar, AGU has applied fleece in the lining, also for more comfort.
If it doesn't rain for a while, you can fold the Section Raincoat Essential compactly in one of the jacket pockets. This then serves as a storage bag. So you have a small package that you can easily carry.
The jacket has a few reflective prints. These increase your visibility in the dark.
