The Kentucky Outdoordeken All Weather Waterdicht Comfort is a waterproof, breathable turnout rug in 1200 denier ripstop polyester. It is intended for horses and ponies that go out in the field every day, and is available at Maddelin with 0 g to 400 g fill. Within one model you will find both a turnout sheet for the transitional seasons and a warm rug for winter.
About this turnout rug
Kentucky's Comfort line is made for daily turnout in every season. The outer fabric is 1200 denier ripstop polyester with a breathable, waterproof coating. Ripstop is a weave with reinforced threads in a grid pattern that stops a small tear from spreading. The rug has no spine seam and no stitching on the back, so in stormy weather water cannot seep in along the back through a seam.
Inside is a smooth 210T polyester lining. A smooth lining slides easily over the coat. The cut is anatomical. At the front you close it with a comfort buckle front closure, and under the belly there are 3 belly surcingles. Kentucky designed these fastenings to avoid pressure points.
At the back, the tail flap is slightly longer than usual and has elastic around the tail. A detachable elastic tail cord with a plastic sleeve keeps the rug in place and is easy to clean. Reflective details on the rug and tail flap make your horse more visible when you bring it in after dark.
Kentucky positions the 0 g for autumn, spring and summer and the 200 g for autumn and winter. With 100 g, 300 g and 400 g in between and above, you can match the insulation closely to the weather and your horse.
